Working with Self-Serve Portal

Overview

This feature is intended for Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) to provide a basic Self-Serve Portal on Quantum Spark appliances for end-users and reduce the operational overhead.

Capabilities of Self-Serve Portal:

  • Basic wireless settings

  • Security Policy for Domains, IP addresses, and services

  • SSL Inspection Exceptions

  • Remote Access Users

  • Administrators – Define additional Self-serve administrators

Requirements

  1. Super Administrator must configure a Self-Serve Portal limited administrator in Quantum Spark Management.

  2. Quantum Spark appliance must run the version R81.10.10 or higher.

Procedure

  1. Connect to the Check Point Infinity Portal.

  2. Open the Quantum Spark Management app.

  3. Sign in as the account Super Administrator.

  4. Create a new administrator with the Self-Serve Portal role.

  5. With a web browser, connect to WebUI Quantum Spark appliance.

  6. Log in as a Self-Serve Portal limited administrator.

  7. Configure the applicable settings (see the sections below).

Configuring Wireless Configuration in the Self-Serve Portal

In the Self-Serve Portal, you can configure a Wireless connection:

  1. Click the Wireless Configuration tab.

  2. Configure the applicable settings.

  3. Save the changes.

Note - You must define a main wireless network to configure new VAP/Guest networks.

Configuring a Security Policy in the Self-Serve Portal

In the Self-Serve Portal, you can configure a Security Policy:

  1. Click the Security Policy tab.

  2. Select the applicable IP address, Domain, or Service and configure the required action (Allow or Block).

  3. Save the changes.

Configuring SSL Inspection Exceptions in the Self-Serve Portal

In the Self-Serve Portal, you can configure SSL Inspection exceptions:

  1. Click the SSL Inspection Exceptions tab.

  2. Select the applicable IP address, Domain, or Service and configure the required action (Allow or Block).

  3. Save the changes.

Configuring Remote Access VPN Users in the Self-Serve Portal

In the Self-Serve Portal, you can configure Remote Access VPN users:

  1. Click the Remote Access Users tab.

  2. Click Add.

  3. Configure the applicable settings.

  4. Save the changes.

To edit / delete an existing Remote Access VPN user, select the username and click Edit / Delete.

Configuring Self-Serve Portal Administrators

In the Self-Serve Portal, you can configure additional Self-Serve Portal administrators:

  1. Click the Administrators tab.

  2. Click Add.

  3. Configure the applicable settings.

  4. Save the changes.

To edit / delete an existing Self-Serve Portal administrator, select the username and click Edit / Delete.
