Plans

Plans are core building blocks in Spark Management that enable you to enforce a unified policy management across multiple Gateways.

A Plan manages the following settings:

  • General - General Plan information and alternative activation options. See Editing a Plan for more information.

  • License - Enable Pay As You Go (PAYG) billing or revert to annual subscription per request. See Managing Licenses.

  • Zero Touch - When you connect a new Gateway or reset an existing Gateway to factory defaults, the Gateway automatically connects to Spark Management and retrieves the configuration from there. See Using Zero Touch for Spark Management.

  • Device Settings - Adjust essential Operating System settings and operational parameters such as scheduled reboot and probing settings. See Editing a Plan for more information.

  • Software Blades - Control the activation and configuration of various Software Blades. See Editing a Plan for more information.

  • Services - Set up cloud-based services facilitating centralized operations. See Editing a Plan for more information.

  • VPN - Assign VPN Communities to the Plan.

  • Setup - Define allowed hosts for local Administrator access. See Editing a Plan for more information.

  • CLI Scripts - Execute Clish commands on connected Appliances. See Editing a Plan for more information.

You can manage plans by adding, editing, cloning, or deleting them as needed. See Editing a Plan for more information.
