SSO Enforcement
SSO
Single Sign-On (SSO) - A session/user authentication process that permits a user to enter one name and password in order to access multiple applications. enforcement determines whether users are required to authenticate using Single Sign-On (SSO).
-
When SSO enforcement is disabled (default), SSO is optional.
Users can authenticate using any login method supported by the portal, as described in How to Log in to your Account.
-
When SSO enforcement is enabled, SSO authentication is mandatory.
When SSO enforcement is enabled:
-
All users must sign in using SSO.
-
Local login with username and password is blocked for all users, except Primary Administrators.
-
Primary Administrators are not subject to SSO enforcement and can always sign in with a username and password if required.
