Managing Endpoint Components in SmartEndpoint Management Console

In addition to Harmony Endpoint, you can also manage the Endpoint components through a cloud-based SmartEndpointClosed A Check Point GUI application which connects to the Endpoint Security Management Server, to manage your Endpoint Security environment - to deploy, monitor and configure Endpoint Security clients and policies. management console.

To manage the Endpoint components through the SmartEndpoint console:

  1. Download SmartConsoleClosed Check Point GUI application used to manage a Check Point environment - configure Security Policies, configure devices, monitor products and events, install updates, and so on. from the Service Management view:

    Note - Before you download SmartConsole, you must change your SmartConsole administrator password.

  2. In the SmartEndpoint Login window:

    1. Enter the username, password and connection token that you entered when you created the New Endpoint Management Service.

    2. Select Cloud Server.

    3. Click Login.

The SmartEndpoint console manages all Endpoint components, whereas the Harmony Endpoint manages only Harmony components.

Harmony Endpoint does not support all of SmartEndpoint features. Therefore, there can be conflicts between configurations in the two platforms. For more information, see Backward Compatibility.
