Preparing the VeloCloud Ecosystem and Check Point Smart Management

To use the Quantum Edge Gateway for SD-WAN VMware, it is necessary to prepare the VeloCloud Appliance and configure it.

To prepare the VeloCloud Ecosystem:

1. Install the physical appliance.

2. Create a New Edge in VeloCloud Orchestrator (VCO) - VeloCloud 840, VeloCloud Edge 640, or VeloCloud Edge 520V.

3. Configure your network.

Prepare the Check Point Smart Management Server:

1. Install the R80.40 Security Management Server / Multi-Domain Server.

2. Install the R80.40.x SmartConsole for R80.x Management Server.

   or

   Install the Quantum Edge in the Check Point Security Management Portal.
