Management Requirements

E88.x Endpoint Security Clients for macOS work with all supported Endpoint Security Management Servers, on-premises, and in the cloud.

The Native Encryption Management feature requirements for R77.30.03 and R77.20 EP6.2:

  • The dedicated hotfix for the Endpoint Security Management Server

  • The dedicated SmartConsole

Note - For the most up-to-date list of supported operating systems and Endpoint Security Management Servers, see sk107255. For Remote Access Solutions, see sk67820.

Before you deploy E88.x clients, you must upgrade your Endpoint Security Management Servers and SmartConsole to the required version. See the Endpoint Security home page.

Supported Upgrade Paths

Upgrade to the E88.x for macOS is available from E83.20 and higher.

Notes:

  • For existing Endpoint Security deployments, before upgrading your OS version, you must first upgrade the Endpoint Security Client to a version that supports the desired OS version based on the table above.

  • Starting from E88.30, new features do not include support for macOS 10.15.
    Starting from E89.00, macOS 10.15 is not supported.
