Importing Contacts

You can invite groups of users by importing contacts lists. By default, the invitation is sent to all the users on the list. You can also choose not to send invitations at the time when you import the contacts.

To import contacts:

  1. In the Community tab, click Import.

    The Import Contacts window opens.

  2. Click Select file.

  3. Find the applicable file on your computer.

    Note - The file must be in CSV (.csv) or Excel (.xls) format.

  4. Click Open.

    To import contacts without sending out invitations, clear Send invitation email to every user.

  5. Click Import.

    The contacts get imported and the invitation emails are sent, unless you choose not to send them at this time.

If you import contacts without inviting them, you can invite them at another time.

To invite users from imported contacts:

  1. In the Community tab, select Manage Usersfrom the navigation tree.

  2. Select the users you want to invite.
