Requirements
For Security Management Servers and Multi-Domain Security Management Servers:
- R77.30 or above, Gaia OS.
- The objects of the Security Gateways and Cluster Members, on which you wish to deploy the packages, must already be configured.
- You must install the CDT RPM package on your Security Management Server or Multi-Domain Security Management Server. The CDT RPM installs the CDT files to the
/opt/CPcdt/
directory. You can move the files to a different location, as long as you move all the files together. - You must install the RPM package of the latest build of the CPUSE Agent from sk92449.
Download the TGZ file and extract the RPM package CPda-00-00.i386.rpm
from it.
For Security Gateways and Cluster Members:
- For Hotfix installations - R77.30 or above, Gaia OS.
- For upgrade - R75.40 or above, Gaia OS.
- For RMA mode - R77.30 or above (not including machines, on which you performed a minor upgrade to R77.30), Gaia OS.
Requirements for the RMA Backup and RMA Restore to work correctly:
- On the Security Gateway, to connect to the Management Server, you must use the interface defined as the Management Interface in Gaia OS.
- The communication between the Security Gateway and the Management Server must rely on the Security Gateway's default gateway and not on static routes.
- You must configure the Security Gateways with the Gaia First Time Configuration Wizard.
- You must establish the SIC with the Management Server.
- You must install the security policy at least once.
Note - Requirements 4, 5 and 6 for Security Gateways do not apply to the RMA Restore mode.
