Introduction to Quantum Spark Appliance

This major Quantum Spark release runs R82 code and adds many new capabilities, as well as a wide range of stability and performance improvements.

The Quantum Spark Appliance release is supported only on the 2500 Series Security Gateways.

This release supports Locally Managed (Local + Quantum Spark Management) appliances.

R81.10.X continues to be supported on the 1500, 1600, 1800, 1900, and 2000 appliances.

R80.20.X is no longer supported. R80.20.xx code base for 1500 / 1600 / 1800 Series Security Gateways will continue to be supported with stability, performance and bug fixes only.

R77.20 is supported ony for the 1200R appliance. The existing 700, 900, 1100, 1200R, and 1400 appliance lines will continue to be supported with our R77.20.xx code base.

As the majority of R&D efforts shifted to R82 code, we encourage our customers to migrate to the new code base.
