SD-WAN

SD-WAN is supported on Centrally Managed Quantum Spark appliances starting from the R81.10.05 General Availability (GA) release.
The R81.10.10 release introduced SD-WAN on Locally Managed Quantum Spark appliances.

It is supported to configure SD-WAN link steering using the percentage % of the Internet link speed/bandwidth.
You can configure the weight and then choose the method for the specific steering object.
For additional information, see sk181997.

The SD-WAN "Overlay - VPN" topology is supported for all Centrally Managed Quantum Spark appliances.

SD-WAN on Locally Managed appliances only supports Local Breakout / Application Steering to different ISPs, without VPN.
You do not need to connect to Infinity Portal.

SD-WAN can be used with all types of Internet connections.
SD-WAN is not supported on Quantum Spark Gateways that use two SIM cards for one Cellular connection. In such a configuration, there are no two Internet Connections working at the same time, but rather a high availability of two Internet connections.

SD-WAN works independently of the HTTPS Inspection (SSL Inspection).

SD-WAN with the "Overlay - VPN" topology can be used on Centrally Managed Quantum Spark appliances when they are managed with an on-premises Management Server or with Smart-1 Cloud.
Locally Managed Quantum Spark appliances do not support the SD-WAN "Overlay - VPN" topology.

LTE can be used as a backup.
Monitoring of the SIM usage, and automatic failover when the package is used, is on the roadmap.
