The Spark Firewall 2590 Security Appliance, part of the new 2500 Appliance Series, delivers enterprise-grade security and runs the R82 code base in an all-in-one security solution to protect Medium Business employees, network and data from cyber-theft. They offer vast switching capabilities with 4 x SFP 10GbE ports, 16 x RJ45 1GbE, 8 x SFP 1GbE, 2 x 2.5 GbE, WAN / DMZ Combo (WAN 1G SFP / RJ45, DMZ 16 SFP / RJ45).

The 2590 Security Gateways offer integrated, multi-layered security in a 1U form factor, a high performance platform which is easy and simple to configure and manage. The Security Gateway offers firewall, VPN, Anti-Virus, Application Visibility and Control, URL Filtering, Email Security, and SandBlast Zero-Day Protection.

Spark Firewall 2590 Security Appliances can be managed locally in a Web interface or a cloud-based Spark Management (SMP) application on the Check Point Portal, or centrally by a Smart-1 Management Server.
